Netflix has long tried to make Live Action adaptations for famous programs that are originally animated, the greatest examples are the failed Death Note and also the future One Piece series.
And now, Cowboy’s creator has given his opinion regarding the program they made of his work in the Millionaire Streaming system.

Shinichiro Watanabe’s reaction was going to be logical, as he would have turned off the show shortly after having seen one of the first scenes of the program, something that also happened with the fans of the animated show.
This mentioned it in a new interview where it was addressed that he had seemed the program, which was not of total pleasure.
This mentioned:

For the new live action adaptation of Netflix, they sent me a video to review and verify.
He started with a scene in a casino, which made me very difficult to continue.
I stopped there, and I only saw the opening scene.
It was clearly not Cowboy Bebop and at that time I realized that if I was not involved, it would not be Cowboy Bebop.
I felt that maybe I should have done this.
Although the original anime value is much higher now.

Cowboy

It is worth mentioning that the show has not been renewed for a second season.
However, it can still be seen on the Netflix platform, as well as the Death Note movie to which it went very badly.

Editor’s note: Something tells me that One Piece will go along the same path, it is not necessary that Live Action adaptations be made, but Netflix executives seems like a millionaire idea.
