In recent years, the Embracer Group has built up an impressive portfolio of developer studios. Saber Interactive, Gearbox Entertainment, THQ Nordic and Deep Silver are just a few of the well-known names that now belong to the Swedish group.
The fact that video game fans may look forward to some top-class titles of numerous studios over the next few years, the Embracer Group once again confirmed during their quarterly business conference.
More than 25 AAA titles whose publications are to take place by April 2026 are currently in the various studios in development. The total number of ongoing projects quantifies the company on Sage and Write 216.
Two candidates, which are most likely falling in the said period of time, are one of 4A Games metro continuation with multiplayer part and Dead Island 2 from Deep Silver.
In addition, the company commented on the recent acquisitions such as Dark Horse Media and the associated objectives of the EMBRACER Group:
“After completing these transactions, the Embracer Group will have one of the most diversified portfolios of IPS throughout the game industry. Dependence on a single title or IP is expected to make up less than five percent of the group’s net sales, which makes our operational performance hopefully foreseeable. “
