It was a scarce affair. The relevant incidence value for the city of Augsburg was at the reporting date on this Monday according to the Robert Koch Institut 33.4. When exceeding the limit of 35, the FCA could have allowed only 1500 spectators. That would have been “both organizational in the shortness of the time as well as economically another challenge for us,” says Michael Ströll.
The Financial Manager of the FCA therefore advocates “that further parameters such as progressive vaccination rates or a hospitalization rate will be considered in the re-registration of the viewers and we have better planability for the games in the future”.
The seats in the WWK-Arena are arranged on Saturday in the “chessboard pattern”, access to the stadium is only possible for vaccinated, tested or greeting. The presale starts on Monday (15 o’clock) for season ticket owners, from Wednesday for club members, on Friday starts a possible free sale. Tickets cost 19.07 euros for adults and 9.07 euros for children and adolescents up to and including 14 years.
Also for guest fans of the TSG Hoffenheim, the FCA provides a quota, although this is mandatory later by means of association. “Away fans belong to Fankultur for the FC Augsburg. Therefore, for us it was clear that we already want to make the first home game of the season also to provide our guests tickets as soon as this is possible in the hygiene concept,” explains Ströll.
